Antonio Brown tweets out old negative scouting report after signing mega-deal

Antonio Brown

Antonio Brown is now the highest-paid receiver in the NFL after inking a huge four-year extension with the Pittsburgh Steelers, but he still has a huge chip on his shoulder.

A former sixth-round pick out of Central Michigan, Brown has been fighting against big odds on his way to the top since before he was drafted. This is something he clearly hasn’t let himself forget, as shortly after news broke that he’d signed the massive deal he tweeted the following message.

Time after time we’ve seen players rise up to the upper echelon of NFL fame from humble beginnings.

Whether we’re talking about Tom Brady (a fellow sixth-round pick) winning his fifth Super Bowl title this year, Antonio Gates (undrafted) becoming one of the NFL’s greatest tight ends or Brown becoming one of the best receivers in football, these guys are living proof that you can never let another person judge your worth.

We’ll be watching, No. 84, and we can’t wait to see what kind of moves you bust out next season when you cross the goal line.
