For the first time since Thanksgiving of 2015, Tony Romo is on the field in a regular season NFL game. Despite the layoff, he wasted no time getting back into action, capping off his first drive with a three-yard touchdown pass to Terrance Williams.

It wasn’t the first time that the two connected on the drive. Earlier, Romo found Williams to convert a third-and-11 when Dallas was deep in its own territory.

The touchdown put the Cowboys up 10-3.
Romo finished the drive 3-for-4 with 29 yards passing and the touchdown.
That was Romo’s only possession of the game. As was expected, Mark Sanchez went under center on the following Dallas possession.
