We’ve seen players in different sports who’ve won championships celebrate in many different ways throughout the years. Perhaps nobody has celebrated quite like Ben Boulware did after Clemson beat Alabama, 35-31, to win the CFP National Championship Game, however.
Clemson's Ben Boulware celebrated winning the #NationalChampionship by having a rather intimate moment with the trophy. pic.twitter.com/WalJXIBvbC

Jeez. Get a room, why don’t you?
Boulware, who’s been the emotional leader of the Tigers all year long, played a magnificent game for Clemson. He sniffed out screen passes with the instincts of a jungle cat hunting its prey, was all over the field and made one of the biggest hits of the night — a hit that resulted in a mouthpiece ejection (watch here).
After such a performance, we’ll cut Boulware some slack about french-kissing/licking the trophy, even if it did get a bit weird.
