The Minnesota Vikings find themselves in a must-win situation against the equally desperate Indianapolis Colts on Sunday. They’ll also be getting future Hall of Fame running back Adrian Peterson back in the mix for the first time since Week 2.
In an attempt to hype up their fans on social media, the Vikings put together a rather awesome video — one that combines their upcoming matchup with the Colts with Super Mario Brothers.
No really.
Just as the Super Mario franchise is set to make a comeback on the iPhone, the Vikings are attempting to comeback in the NFC Playoff race. One game out of the final spot in the NFC, the Vikings would do well to win out.
That starts Sunday with Peterson’s return against the Colts. Maybe he’ll be able to down a couple horseshoes in the process, leading Minnesota to a much-needed win.
