Olivier Vernon spent ‘over $150,000’ on Louis XIII Cognac as gifts for Giants organization

After signing a contract worth $85 million this past offseason, it’s fair to say New York Giants defensive end Olivier Vernon is extremely grateful to be with the New York organization.

So grateful in fact, that Vernon went out of his way to thank every player and coach, as well as other members of the organization. He did so by buying each of them a personalized bottle of Louis XIII Cognac with matching champagne glasses per NJ.com.

Just for reference, the average price of a non-personalized bottle is roughly $1,100-$1,500.

With about 75 members within the Giants organization, Vernon easily spent over $150,000 on the gift, per the report. The costly spirits were delivered to the Giants facility in a Sprinter truck escorted by a security team.

A quiet man amongst teammates and media, Vernon has clearly preferred to let his actions speak louder than his words.
