A certain Arizona Cardinals running back made an absolutely dazzling play to break off a big touchdown run, and shockingly it wasn’t David Johnson. Kerwynn Williams, a third-year player out of Utah State, has gotten more carries as of late to allow Johnson a rest.
And no carry was more spectacular than this 49-yard touchdown run in which he lost his shoe along the way to the end zone.
He lost his shoe.
But it didn't matter.@kerwinning_ is GONE. 49-yard TD! #BeRedSeeRed https://t.co/I7VZ0DF1WG— NFL (@NFL) December 18, 2016
Lining up in the Wildcat, Williams took the snap, faked the hand off and slipped two tackles along with his left shoe en route to the first touchdown of the game against the New Orleans Saints.
The Arizona Cardinals led the New Orleans Saints, 7-0, after this run in the first quarter.
