Taking a page out of Jim Harbaugh’s coaching playbook, Kentucky’s Mark Stoops has thrown a couple epic tantrums Saturday during the TaxSlayer Bowl against Georgia Tech.
The Wildcats felt they were getting hit with some cheap shots early in this game. During a timeout on the field Stoops went on the offensive to let Georgia Tech head coach Paul Johnson all about it.

That was just the tip of the iceberg, though.
After a blown call on the field in which the refs stopped the clock when it should have continued ticking down to zeroes at the end of the first half, Stoops went ballistic.
Report: At half Coach Stoops kicked the ref locker room door. Knocked over a Gatorade cooler. They had to pull him back to the locker room.

The missed call allowed the Yellow Jackets to score on a 52-yard field goal, giving them a huge 20-3 lead at the half.
Stoops has a right to be upset about these developments. But he’d do well to get more upset with himself, his coaching staff and his players for getting blown out of this game.
