Keenan Allen calls out Marcus Peters in odd Twitter post

San Diego Chargers wide receiver Keenan Allen has not suited up for a game since suffering a torn ACL against the Kansas City Chiefs back in Week 1. In fact, Allen has played in a total of one game since November of last year.

His Chargers are also in last place. Their opponent this upcoming week, the Kansas City Chiefs, are battling for a top-two seed in the AFC.

Despite all this, Allen decided it made sense to take to social media and throw some major shade in the direction of Chiefs Pro Bowl cornerback Marcus Peters.

We’re not too sure what to make of this post. Is there some type of pent-up rivalry we don’t know about between these two? Did something happen behind the scenes for Allen to call Peters out in such a public manner? These questions will likely go unanswered.

What we do know is that the Chiefs will be battling for a Super Bowl spot next month while the Chargers themselves will be sitting at home waiting for news of a relocation to Los Angeles to become official.
