Ravens joke about Terrell Suggs on injury report

Dallas Cowboys rookie quarterback Dak Prescott had his weekly conference call with the opposing team’s reporters on Wednesday. It’s now the 10th time the surprising rookie performer has taken part in this weekly tradition.

Though, this was unlike any of the others.

Pulling a prank in his opponent this coming Sunday, Ravens linebacker Terrell Suggs decided to crash the conference call.

Calling in under the alias “Hacksaw Smithers,” Suggs asked Prescott what he thought about a certain Ravens linebacker.

As you can see, Prescott took a second to ask who was actually asking him the question before answering it in a serious tone. Meanwhile, in the Ravens’ media room, everyone involved was cracking up.

Now, one day after their linebacker gave Prescott a bit of rookie hazing, the Ravens took the joke one step further.

Okay, so some Ravens fans might not have been happy about this joke (see the responses). But man, it really is hilarious.

“Hacksaw Smithers” is Terrell Suggs. And he did not participate in practice on Thursday. Yes, the Ravens decided to use his alias here.

Fortunately for Ravens’ fans, Suggs absence from practice was not injury related.

The first-place Ravens are tasked with taking on an 8-1 Dallas Cowboys team on the road this upcoming Sunday. Jokes aside, it’s a pretty big game for both teams.
