Stefon Diggs ‘doubtful’ to play Sunday against Houston

Strefon Diggs

Star wide receiver Stefon Diggs is listed as “doubtful” for Sunday’s game against the Houston Texans, per a news release from the Minnesota Vikings,

Diggs has quickly evolved into one of the top young receivers in the league as a second-year player with the Vikings. He is by far quarterback Sam Bradford’s favorite target as well.

Already dealing with key injuries to left tackle Matt Kalil, running back Adrian Peterson and franchise quarterback Teddy Bridgewater, the Vikings are a surprising 4-0 on the year. They have achieved this shocking record thanks to the outstanding work of Bradford, Diggs and an elite defense.

With limited offensive options, someone has to step up and make plays for Minnesota. This may be the perfect opportunity for first-round draft pick Laquon Treadwell to break into the starting lineup and finally make his mark.

It can also be expected that star tight end Kyle Rudolph will have a heavy presence in Sunday’s game. Fantasy owners should keep in mind he is definitely a key player to target this weekend.
