We really have to wonder if the NFL makes this up on the run. Call it the “no fun league” or whatever, but this was taken to a whole new level during the Washington Redskins’ game against the Cleveland Browns on Sunday.
Redskins corner Josh Norman was given a 15-yard penalty for “shooting a bow and arrow.”
"Shooting a bow and arrow" is the explanation for Josh Norman's unsportsmanlike conduct penalty. I'm dying here.

No, he didn’t literally have a bow and arrow on the field. Though, that would have been tremendous in and of itself. Probably a worthwhile penalty too.
Instead, he was penalized for making a motion like he was shooting a bow and arrow. Literally, that was the explanation from the officials.

It came after Norman intercepted a Cody Kessler pass that was intended for Terrelle Pryor, pretty much putting the game on ice for the Redskins.
