Drew Rosenhaus: LeSean McCoy a game-time decision against Dolphins

LeSean McCoy

News broke Thursday that the Buffalo Bills would be without running back LeSean McCoy, not only for the upcoming game against the Miami Dolphins but perhaps even longer. Not so fast, says agent Drew Rosenhaus.

Speaking on WQAM radio in Miami (h/t Pro Football Talk), Rosenhaus said McCoy will be a game-time decision.

It’s worth pointing out that McCoy was out on the practice field on Friday.

McCoy tweaked his hamstring Wednesday. The Bills said afterwards that it wasn’t known exactly how bad the injury was. Then Thursday, he missed practice and ESPN’s Josina Anderson said he would be out at least one week, if not longer.

The Bills would obviously love to have McCoy in the game against the Dolphins. He’s the league’s second-best rusher so far, tallying 587 yards and six touchdowns on the ground in six games.

If he cannot make it Sunday, then it would likely fall on third-year back Mike Gillislie to carry the load, with rookie Jonathan Williams seeing action as well.
