Cavaliers championship rings leave Warriors reminder of 3-1 lead

Stephen Curry

The Cleveland Cavaliers championship rings are amazing, and they contain a semi-hidden message. The players received their rings before opening the season against the New York Knicks Tuesday night.

There is a special reminder embedded in the gorgeous rings that throws a bit of shade at the Golden State Warriors, who failed to seal the deal after going up 3-1.

Now, the message obviously goes both ways. The garnets are a reminder to the Cavaliers’ players that they overcame a 3-1 deficit as well. But don’t think for a second that the people who designed this layout didn’t do it with the Warriors in mind as well.

One can only hope we get to see these two teams in action once again in the Finals after the upcoming season. They have the makings of a rivalry going, and both squads feature championship-caliber rosters that could be regulars in the championship series for years to come.
