With the 10th ranked Irish down 14-7 to Texas in the second quarter of the team’s season opener, Notre Dame receiver Equanimeous St. Brown reeled in one heck of a touchdown to tie the game up.
With Irish head coach Brian Kelly going with a two quarterback system, it seems that their offense is flowing much better with DeShone Kizer under center.
Having scored the first two touchdowns for the Irish, St. Brown probably agrees with this assumption.
The sophomore receiver played sparingly last season after committing to the Irish as a four-star recruit out of Southern California.
It now appears that he’s taking on a larger role this season. More plays like this, and he’ll definitely continue seeing the field.
