Cam Newton’s style sense entering Russell Westbrook territory

Win or lose, Carolina Panthers quarterback Cam Newton never bores us with his sense of style.

Newton is certainly making a fashion statement with this geometric design shirt and a Monopoly Man hat.

This wasn’t the first time he’s sported some rather interesting attire (check out his crazy Super Bowl pants here).

It’s become a weekly thing, and at this point, Newton appears to be channeling his inner Russell Westbrook.

Newton’s hat has the caption, “Don’t be a puppet.”

On that note, Newton and the Panthers looked a lot like puppets who were manipulated by the Minnesota Vikings on Sunday.

The Panthers put up a terrible performance against Minnesota and were handed their second loss of the season. At the conclusion of the Panthers’ loss (22-10), Newton had tallied 262 yards passing, one rushing touchdown and three interceptions.

The Vikings’ defense is no laughing matter, which is probably why Newton sported a depressed face at his presser.
