The baseball gods have spoken, and it appears they are displeased with Alex Rodriguez based on the downpour of rain that cut his farewell ceremony short Friday night.

Rain rained on his parade, along with some thunder and lighting.
According to Weather Channel, lightning struck 3 miles from Yankee Stadium during A-Rod ceremony.

Set to play in his final MLB game, Rodriguez isn’t getting the kind of farewell tour he dreamed about when he was a kid.
Based on how many people can’t stand him for taking PEDs and lying about it, some may be thinking he’s getting no less than he deserves.
But we here at Sportsnaut wouldn’t wish this on our worst enemy. After all, he’s not the villain he’s been made out to be.
