Tony Romo, Jason Witten helping out families of Dallas shooting victims

Tony Romo

Want to hang out with Tony Romo and Jason Witten in the Dallas area? What if I told you the money you would spend on this opportunity would be donated to a charity in the Dallas area that would benefit police and firefighters?

According to Jason La Canfora, those opportunities are readily available. In response of the police shootings in the Dallas area last week, Romo and Witten are auctioning off both their time and signed jerseys, as well as other perks to the Guns and Hoses Foundation. All proceeds will benefit the foundation.

Here are the things people can bid on at the auction:

  • A night on the town with Tony Romo and Jason Witten.
  • A signed Witten jersey
  • A signed Romo jersey
  • A Rangers game experience with Zack Martin and Travis Frederick (Who wouldn’t want to eat some nachos with some O-linemen!?)
  • A Mavericks game experience with Mark Cuban
  • And More!

The auction will take place at a Dallas restaurant called Dos Jefes on Thursday. All proceeds will be going to the families of the Dallas shooting victims. Every single one of these opportunities sounds amazing, and we hope they raise their goal of $300,000.

These shootings were reprehensible, and it’s awesome to see Witten or Romo helping out the victims families. Additionally other Cowboys, members of the Texans Rangers and Mark Cuban helping out as well. Dallas is showing that it’s not just a city, but a family.
