One day after news broke that Nigel Bradham was charged with assaulting a cabana boy in Miami, new details are emerging that could potentially exonerate the Philadelphia Eagles linebacker.
Howard Eskin of Fox 29 in Philadelphia provided this information on Wednesday morning.

Les Bowen of the Philadelphia Daily News added some other details and noted counter-charges against the umbrella attendant are in the works.

Jeff McLane of the Philadelphia Inquirer also reported on this incident, noting Bradham hit the attendant three times after the man swung at him, missed him and hit his girlfriend.
Of course, the attendant sees things differently.

The original report indicated the fight began when Bradham and members of his party were upset at how long it took for the attendant to bring an umbrella to them (more details here).
Bradham turned himself into the Miami Police on Monday and showed up for work at Philadelphia Eagles training camp on Wednesday.
Head coach Doug Pederson made it clear that Bradham’s status on the team was not compromised by the incident, noting, “He understands the magnitude” of the charges, per NFL.com.
Bradham joined the Eagles this offseason as a free agent after spending his first four years with the Buffalo Bills. He signed a two-year contract worth $7 million, including $4.5 million guaranteed.
