Philadelphia Eagles linebacker Nigel Bradham has been arrested and charged for assaulting a cabana boy in Miami last week.

According to NBC 10 in Philadelphia, Bradham, who lives and trains in South Florida, turned himself into the Miami Police on Monday.

The event in question stems around an argument at Hilton Bentley in Miami in which Bradham and others were upset about how long it took the alleged victim to bring him his umbrella.

“The verbal argument became physical, with the victim sustaining cuts and lacerations, including one to the back of his head when a glass battle was allegedly smashed over it. The six people then fled the scene, running toward Ocean Drive and entering a vehicle before speeding away. A phone was discovered at the scene, which was turned over to police as evidence along with a receipt showing Bradham paid for the umbrella with his credit card.”

Bradham is a new member of the Eagles. He spent his first four seasons with the Buffalo Bills, starting 38 games and appearing in 57. He signed a two-year deal in free agency worth $7 million, including $4.5 million guaranteed.

He was brought on board to play for former Bills defensive coordinator Jim Schwartz, who is now doing the same job with the Eagles.

Needless to say, this isn’t the way to show your new team any love. The Eagles are set to have veterans report to camp on Wednesday, July 27.
