Dallas Cowboys running back Ezekiel Elliott is facing domestic violence allegations, but it’s been reported that he adamantly denies them. Now he appears to have spoken up on the matter himself.
His ex-girlfriend, Tiffany Thompson, filed two reports telling police that Elliott attacked her over the course of several days, leaving marks on her body.
Mike Leslie of WFAA reported that Elliott has proof he did nothing wrong.

The rookie running back appeared to finally make a statement of his own on the matter on Friday night via his Twitter account.

It seems to be quite clear what Elliott thinks of these allegations. If he does indeed have proof that exonerates him, then both he and the Cowboys can just shrug this off and move forward.
Needless to say, professional athletes have to be extra careful with whom they associate these days.
