Already in trouble with the law, Keith Appling has reportedly been arrested again for carrying a concealed weapon Saturday morning.
Police stopped a “fast-driving Dodge Charger” early in the morning, per sportando.com, and spotted Appling, a passenger, putting a weapon under the seat.
Appling is set to face a hearing for drug and weapons charges stemming from a May incident at a Detroit-area strip club in which he was caught with a loaded AK-47.
A former Michigan State star, Appling failed to make an impact this past season in the NBA. He spent most of the season playing in the NBA’s D-league. He was signed to a 10-day contract by the Orlando Magic, with whom he played five games. However, he was not re-signed when that contract ran out.
Needless to say, given the severity of both arrests, his NBA career is likely over.
