Stephen Curry’s elbow is fine, not on injury report

When Golden State Warriors guard Stephen Curry went flying into the stands during the first half of the team’s playoff game against the Oklahoma City Thunder on Wednesday, fans in Northern California could be heard screeching in fear.

After all, the two-time reigning NBA MVP had missed more than half of the team’s first 11 playoff games with both an ankle and knee injury.

Down 1-0 in the Western Conference Finals after losing Game 1 at home, the last thing Golden State needed was Curry to suffer another injury.

Curry did in fact suffer an injury.

Though, he was able to eventually stay in the game. This was good news for one team, and bad news for the other. Curry would go on to score a ridiculous 15 points an less than two minutes, to outscore the Thunder by 13 during that span.

Curry’s performance in the blowout win, even with that extra growth, was legendary.

While Warriors fans might have been concerned that Curry’s injury was more severe than the team let on Wednesday night, it now appears he’s perfectly fine.

According to the San Francisco Chronicle, Curry did not appear on the injury report Thursday and should be good to go for Game 3 on Sunday in Oklahoma City.

This might be some stellar news, but we have advice for fans in Oakland. Next time your deity leaps into the stands, maybe try to catch him before he falls to the ground. Just a thought.
