While Seattle Seahawks quarterback Russell Wilson feasted on what he called a “hearty breakfast” consisting of fruit and granola, he made a video announcement that he would be hosting the “2016 Nickelodeon Kids Choice Sports Awards.”
Wilson seems nothing short of thrilled to be called upon to host the show for a second consecutive year.
Last year, Wilson had the honor to host the event when he received the classic green-slime treatment.

It looks like he will need to find that handy rain gear to prepare for another slime fest.
Wilson is the perfect sports figure to host such an event considering all he does for his local community and for the children’s hospitals in his area.
According to Nickelodeon, the show will air on July 17 at 8:00 p.m.
Wilson also invited anyone interested to follow him on his Facebook live where he will further discuss the details in a commercial.
