If you were one of the folks at Justin Tuck’s retirement ceremony, chances are you’re in possession of a $200 bottle of Johnnie Walker Blue scotch, courtesy of Tuck.

After spending 2005-2013 as a defensive end for the New York Giants, Tuck spent the last two seasons of his career with the Oakland Raiders. Wanting to retire with the team that drafted him in the third round in 2005, Tuck signed a one-day contract with the Giants to make his desire come true.

The fancy Blue Label scotch may be significant considering all of the years Tuck suited up in Giants blue. It is also what Tuck bought each of his teammates after the Giants beat the New England Patriots in Super Bowl XLVI.

Per TMZ Sports, Tuck shared this toast at his ceremony which took place with colleagues and a cast of media.

“I am honored and humbled to retire with the team I started with and am raising a glass of Johnnie Walker Blue Label to these outstanding individuals. Thank you for being by my side and cheers to new adventures.”

During Tuck’s 11 years in the NFL, he recorded a total of 66.5 sacks and 510 combined tackles. He achieved All-Pro status in 2008, and was selected to play in two Pro Bowls.

In the end, Tuck’s season was cut short in Oakland when he sustained a season-ending pectoral injury last October.
