Not even one full quarter had passed when Patrick Beverly got into it with none other than Stephen Curry during Saturday’s first-round action between the Houston Rockets and Golden State Warriors.
Check out this early exchange between the two guards as Beverly reached in to try and swipe at the ball after the play:

No doubt, Beverly, who is known as a physical perimeter defender, is trying to get into Curry’s head.
Here’s a pro tip: It’s not going to happen. Not in this series, anyway.
Perhaps the San Antonio Spurs will be able to get Curry off his game, but at this point he’s still grooving pretty darn good after his unbelievable regular season.
Both players, not surprisingly, were issued technical fouls for their part in the exchange.
Oh, and by the way, after one quarter, Curry has 16 points and the Warriors are up over the Rockets by a score of 33-15.
