Whose MLB Spring Training ride is the swaggiest?

Yasiel Puig

MLB Spring Training has officially arrived. For some players, this means arriving to camp in grand style via exotic, custom automobiles and perhaps even by a pimped-out private helicopter.

This brings up New York Mets’ Yoenis Cespedes and Los Angeles Dodgers’ Yasiel Puig, who each chose some awesome modes of transportation to kick off the start of the MLB season.

Sporting a new sweet ride each day, leftfielder Cespedes arrived in style with his amazing collection of Spring Training transportation. Included is a fire-breathing custom Lamborghini Aventador, an Alfa Romeo, Polaris Slingshot and pimped out Ford F-250.

The grand total cost of Cespedes’ 16 wheels is a whopping $838,000.

While on the opposite side of the United States, rightfielder Puig reportedly invested in a Robertson R44 Helicopter. The cost of purchasing this (used) helicopter is roughly $350,000 according to TMZ Sports.

That’s not including the personal pilot who costs a cool $100 her hour to hire. The helicopter was  decked out by auto customizer Alex Vega. Vega hinted the helicopter may even get wheels so it can hit the road. Per the report, Puig chronically runs late even though his Sherman Oaks residence is no more than 10 miles away from Dodgers Stadium.

Is Puig being extreme in his quest to arrive to work on time? Probably not anymore so than Cespedes bringing his personal auto show to his stadium each day.
