Ezekiel Elliott to wear custom shoes at combine to raise awareness for domestic violence

Ohio State running back Ezekiel Elliot is trying to raise awareness for victims of domestic violence this weekend at the NFL Scouting Combine. As a means to do so, he’s going to wear some awesome custom shoes that will be auctioned off after the combine, with all proceeds going to charities in Columbus, Ohio and St. Louis that support and help victims of domestic violence.

Elliott made this known on an Instagram post Friday morning.

He’s set to show off these unique kicks on Friday. He and the other running backs will hit the playing field at Lucas Oil Stadium, where they’ll run the 40-yard dash, jump as high and as far as they can and show off their moves in the drills.

This is a really great way for a young man with some influence to make a stand against domestic violence and do something positive to help those who have been affected by this plague of society.

Elliott is expected to be one of the first running backs taken in the 2016 NFL Draft, and he can raise his stock by running fast in the 40.
