The defending champion Golden State Warriors are coming off one of the most ridiculous four-game stretches for a team in NBA history.
Having outscored the Cleveland Cavaliers, Chicago Bulls, Indiana Pacers and San Antonio Spurs by a combined 107 points in these four games, the Warriors made it clear just how good they are.
But just how dominating was Golden State during this mini run? Here are 12 ridiculous stats from the four-game span.
1. Stephen Curry made 27 three-point field goals and shot 60 percent from beyond the arc. For comparison’s sake, the Warriors’ four opponents during this span hit 16 threes and shot 23 percent from beyond the arc.
2. In the 31-point blowout win over Chicago last week, the Bulls starting front court of Taj Gibson, Tony Snell and Pau Gasol shot a combined 3-of-22 from the field for seven points. That game saw six different members of the Warriors score at least seven.
3. A total of 133 of Golden State’s 170 field goals during this span were assisted on. That’s an average of 78 percent. Its opponents compiled 79 assists on 149 made field goals (53 percent).
