WATCH: Oregon State’s Jarmal Reid ejected for tripping official

Kyle Terada-USA TODAY Sports

There are just some things in life you cannot do. Oregon State’s Jarmal Reid found out the hard way that tripping an official will get you tossed from a basketball game.

The senior forward must have been irritated with the ref after he didn’t get a call, because in retaliation he stuck his foot out and tripped him, clearly on purpose.

We’re not sure if it made much of an impact on the game, though the Beavers did ultimately lose to the Utah Utes by a score of 59-53.

For the season, Reid is averaging just 4.5 points and 1.9 rebounds per game, averaging 15.4 minutes off the bench. In this particular game, he managed to pick up five fouls in 18 minutes of play before being ejected, adding two points, five rebounds and one steal.
