Albert Haynesworth takes lame shot at Washington Redskins

Albert Haynseworth doesn’t like the Washington Redskins any more, and apparently he doesn’t think he’s alone in that.

Come on, Albert, you’re better than this. How exactly is this proof that a “majority of their high profile players” don’t like them?

Well, Haynseworth doesn’t have a career as a lawyer, because that’s not a strong argument. Members of RG3’s family, who are from Texas, bought a customized Dallas Cowboys RG3 jersey. This proves nothing more than the fact that they want him to end up in Dallas.

Even if we can assume that RG3 wants out of Washington, the most this possibly proves is that two people, Haynseworth and RG3, don’t like the Redskins. But as they have more than four high profile players, that’s not exactly a majority.

It’s worth pointing out that Haynseworth’s dislike for his former team seems to be a mutual thing, as more than a few of the team’s fans took shots at him regarding his failed career in Washington.

Nothing beats a little bitterness between a former player and fans to get the juices flowing.
