Jimmy Clausen will start behind center for the Baltimore Ravens Sunday against the Seattle Seahawks while Matt Schaub recovers from a chest injury, per Ian Rapoport of NFL Network.

The Legion of Boom must have already been salivating at the chance to sink teeth into a dilapidated Ravens offense even before this news. Schaub, internationally known for his pick-six magic, would have been a peach to play against, but believe it or not Clausen is an even easier meal.

Clausen already had one experience against this defense earlier this year when he was the backup to Jay Cutler with the Chicago Bears. The results of that matchup were not pretty, with the quarterback completing 52.9 percent of his passes for just 63 yards in a shutout loss for Chicago, 26-0.

Ravens fans should brace themselves for a similar outcome. And, it could even be worse than that considering how explosive Seattle’s offense has been the past three weeks, averaging over 35 points per contest.
