What is even more remarkable about this pass is that he was even able to hold onto the ball in the first place as he’s tumbling to the ground. The Carolina Panthers and Bucs are playing in a veritable monsoon, and that ball could have easily slid out of his hand in these conditions.
The rookie has had a rough go of it to this point, throwing a couple of interceptions. But this is how it’s going to be for most of the year. There will be lots of good and lots of bad as Winston gets accustomed to the NFL game.
