Leave it to Madden to come up with a way for eager Minnesota Vikings fans to experience their new stadium being built now before it’s been finished.
U.S. Bank Stadium, which is scheduled to open in July of 2016, is a playable stadium in Madden 16 for those who are eager to get a sneak peek. And, based on the video Madden put together, it looks amazing.
Long gone is the oppressive cave-like structure of the old Minnesota Metrodome. In its place is a magnificent, open monument to football and modern architecture.
Outfitted with the largest transparent roof in the world, it essentially seems like an outdoor venue but will keep the elements outside for a comfortable experience inside—for both the fans and players alike.
It’s been well over a year since the Metrodome was destroyed, following the famous roof collapse that finally sunk the old relic. The Vikings will be playing their games at the University of Minnesota (TCF Bank Stadium) this upcoming season but will settle in comfortably to this shiny new stadium for the 2016 NFL season.
