Report: Buffalo Bills claim IK Enemkpali off waivers

This is an apparent case of one man’s trash is another man’s treasure. The Buffalo Bills claimed ex-New York Jets linebacker IK Enemkpali off waivers, according to a report by NFL Media Insider Ian Rapoport.

Enemkpali didn’t remained unemployed for long after he was immediately released by the Jets for punching starting quarterback Geno Smith during a locker room altercation on Tuesday. The punch broke Smith’s jaw, which will cause him to miss between 6-10 weeks of action.

The news of the Bills signing Enemkpali shouldn’t be too shocking, considering Ryan signed other fiery players in guard Richie Incognito and wide receiver Percy Harvin during the offseason.

Enemkpali, of course, will have to compete over the upcoming weeks to earn one of the final 53 spots on the team’s roster.

In the meantime, let’s just hope the Bills quarterbacks and Enemkpali don’t engage in any talks that concern money. A mere $600 for an airline ticket for which Enemkpali wanted to be reimbursed was the ridiculous reason Smith sustained a busted jaw.

Seriously, guys.
