“It was just a dirty move by Trent Williams,” Sherman said after that game. “I can understand why he’s frustrated; it’s the end of their season. They played a solid game. Just a cheap shot.”

After the incident, Williams, who was fined $7,875 for his actions, had this to say:

“Just high emotions, man, and you know, I let them get the best of me,” Williams said then. “It’s nobody’s fault but mine.”

It didn’t take long after that 2013 episode for the two players to mend fences. Sherman posted this to Twitter in response to a text Williams sent him.

The two appear to be friends after seeing Williams post this photo over the weekend with Sherman by his side.

The beefs seems to be over.
