Rex Ryan Will Jump From Plane At “Thunder of Niagara” Air Show

Rex Ryan

Rex Ryan knows how to make an entrance, and he’s taking things to a whole new level this weekend.

The Buffalo Bills head coach is reportedly participating in the “Thunder of Niagara” air show. Per Aaron Besecker of the Buffalo News, Ryan will be tandem jumping with a member of the Army’s Golden Knight parachute team on Friday.

This big event hasn’t taken place since 2011, and “will feature the largest static display of aircraft in the Northeast, said Bill Wagner, event co-chairman,” per Besecker.

“You get a chance to see the aircraft, you get a chance to meet the pilots and you get a chance to come inside the gates of the base,” said Wagner, about the big event.

Adding Ryan to the mix as a featured attraction on Friday should serve to bring in the masses.

The bombastic head coach is known for his bigger-than-life personality, and he’s beloved by many for his frank nature and devil-may-care attitude. No doubt this upcoming stunt will endear him even more to his loyal fans.

Ryan has the difficult task of winning football games without a quality NFL quarterback this year. He’s attempting to guide the Bills to the playoffs after 15-year drought, during which time the New England Patriots have dominated the AFC East.
