Could the Phoenix Suns be looking to move Brandon Knight in a trade during the NBA Draft?

The Phoenix Suns have agreed to a five-year contrac with restricted free agent Brandon Knight, according to Adrian Wojnarowski of Yahoo Sports.

Phoenix acquired Knight at the 2015 trade deadline, and he appeared in 11 games for the team before sustaining a season-ending injury. The point guard tallied 13.4 points and 4.5 assists alongside Eric Bledsoe.

TNT’s David Aldridge reports the Suns will not trade Bledsoe, though the franchise wasn’t necessarily expected to ship him elsewhere. Phoenix sent Goran Dragic to the Miami Heat and Isaiah Thomas to the Boston Celtics at the deadline, a sign it was content to build around Bledsoe and Knight.

The No. 8 pick of the Detroit Pistons in the 2011 draft, Knight spent two seasons in the Motor City. In July 2013, he was traded to Milwaukee and played at an All-Star-worthy level last year.

Phoenix is scheduled to meet with power forward LaMarcus Aldridge on Wednesday, per Paul Coro of The Arizona Republic.
