In a somewhat desperate attempt to change his current status, free agent quarterback Michael Vick is turning to social media by posting a workout for the masses to see:

With training camp on the horizon, Vick still remains on the open market. Will any team in need be impressed with Vick’s speedy play-action fake? Note that Vick worded his post “Stay fresh stay focused #Ready 7.”
NFL Media’s Rand Getlin did indicate that Vick’s camp is optimistic he will find a job soon:
“There is a tremendous amount of confidence in his camp that he will be on an active roster come opening day.”
With a few teams still starving for improvement at the quarterback position, it is surprising that Vick remains unsigned. He was not impressive with the Jets, but is he really the worst quarterback out there compared to some team’s third stringers?
Perhaps as training camps get underway, Vick will appeal to a team struggling at the position. I’m sure Vick has all eyes and ears open just waiting for his phone to ring or an email to hit his inbox.
