Iman Shumpert Watches ‘San Andreas’ Movie, Now Cautious About Playing in California

The Golden State Warriors posted a 67-15 record during the regular season, solidifying home-court advantage throughout the playoffs. However, Cleveland Cavaliers guard Iman Shumpert recently watched the newly released film San Andreas.

Long story short, he’s not particularly thrilled at the prospect of playing four games in California.

Shumpert tweeted at the Warriors, asking if they’d be willing to move those contests to Cleveland and play the whole series at Quicken Loans Arena instead.

Unsurprisingly, Golden State wanted nothing to do with Shumpert’s advances:

Shumpert ended the conversation:

Now, even if a slip in the San Andreas Fault causes an earthquake, a tsunami in the Bay Area cannot happen due to the lack of water displacement.

Don’t worry, Shump. For once, geology is on your side, and the NBA Finals will go on without a hitch.

Game 1 tips off at 9 p.m. ET on Thursday, June 4, at Oracle Arena.
