New Orleans Saints quarterback Drew Brees posted this tweet on Wednesday after spotting an answer on the television game show Jeopardy.

The question (not answer), of course is: “Who is Drew Brees?”
Seattle Seahawks quarterback Russell Wilson has shared in the past his admiration of Brees which dates back to Wilson’s middle school years. Both quarterbacks naturally share a bond of being two of the shortest signal callers in the NFL. Brees stands 6-foot tall compared to Wilson’s 5-foot-11 stature. Note that their height was mentioned on the Jeopardy answer.
Their bond goes beyond height. Wilson revealed prior to his first Super Bowl that he spoke with Brees to prepare himself for the biggest game of his life:
“We’ve been in communication over the past week, just about the experience,” Wilson said when asked about Brees back in February of 2014. “Like I said, he knows I look up to him. He’s a great individual and he was just talking about the experience, and it’s no different.”
It’s pretty cool to see Wilson look at Brees as a mentor. Both quarterbacks are successful players. Perhaps another pint-sized NFL quarterback could also benefit in speaking with a role model like Brees.
