Watch: Louisville Commit Dunks Ball Off Made 3-Point Shot…Before it Hits Ground

We’ve seen some dynamic displays of athleticism over the past few years, but Louisville commit Donovan Mitchell may have just topped them all.

The four-star guard from Brewster Academy in New Hampshire has been working to perfect an unbelievable dunk, per Howie Lindsey of CardinalSports.com, and he achieved perfection during a recent session in the gym:

Yeah, that’s right.

He dunked the ball off a made three-point shot…before the ball ever hit the ground.

Mitchell is headed to the University of Louisville this fall to play for Rick Pitino. He didn’t hide his excitement this past year when he made his choice to play for the Cardinals:

While freakish athleticism isn’t enough to win championships, it certainly doesn’t hurt Mitchell’s cause. The 6’3″, 210-pound guard has put his name on the national stage, and it will be fun to watch him develop under Pitino’s guiding hand.
