WATCH: Awesome AT&T Ad Depicting First Woman in MLB

Not too often does a commercial stand out and give you chills. Normally, these types of commercials are reserved for Super Bowl Sunday. Even then, it’s been hit and miss in recent years.

The Clydesdale Budweiser commercial, Apple’s 1984 ad spot, Mean Joe Greene’s Coca-Cola commercial. All these have stood the test of time.

Add another one to the list.

The people over at AT&T created an amazing ad campaign surrounding the hypothetical of the first woman Major League Baseball player taking to the mound for her team against what looks to be the ad’s version of the Chicago White Sox.

And it is awe inspiring:

As part of the “never miss a moment” campaign, this stands above the rest in the group of commercials. Later in the ad, the camera switches to a bunch of girls, presumably a little league baseball team, catching the first woman player throw her first pitch.

The idea behind the ad is simple. With the new influx of technology at our fingertips, there’s no reason we should miss history as it happens.

Well done, AT&T.
