Johnny Football is Using Golf to Prepare for 2015 Season

For some strange reason, many men love to play golf in their spare time. However, it’s starting to make sense. Most people use it as an escape since it is one of the more calm sports, but still keeps that competitive edge.

Recently, embattled Cleveland Browns quarterback Johnny Manziel checked out of rehab after a two-month stay. Since then, he has moved from the busy downtown lifestyle of Cleveland into a golf course community in a suburb west of town, according to ESPN.

Manziel was on the cover of Golf Digest back in November (the December edition) where he called himself a “seven or eight handicap.” He grew up around the sport and to nobody’s surprise, he was listed as a Tiger Woods fan.

With Lindsey Vonn back on the market, let’s hope Johnny Football isn’t going to try to be too much like Tiger.

No, seriously. Let’s actually hope he doesn’t.

Either way, Manziel has more to do than work on his golf game. The Cleveland Browns are patiently awaiting his arrival as a legit NFL quarterback after selecting him in the first round of the 2014 NFL draft.

Playing golf sure does beat the heck out of “allegedly” rolling up dollar bills in a Vegas bathroom and drunkenly riding a swan in a night club. So there’s that.
