WATCH: Kendrick Perkins Goes Full Punk

The Cleveland Cavaliers are about to close out a four-game sweep against the Boston Celtics. One would assume that it’s the Celtics who would show frustration in what will be the team’s final game of the year.

However, Cavaliers big man Kendrick Perkins was the individual responsible for a dirty play against Celtics forward Jae Crowder.

How Perkins avoided an ejection is the million-dollar question here. After video review, he was assessed a flagrant 1. Luckily for both teams, Crowder was able to remain in the game.

There’s little doubt that Perkins should have been suspended. It will also be interesting to see if the NBA takes action against the big man, especially considering Cleveland’s next outing will be Game 1 of the Eastern Conference Semifinals and the team might be without Kevin Love for an extended period of time.

The Cavaliers are up 21 at the half.
