WATCH: Jarrett Jack Buries Golden State Warriors in Final Seconds

In a tightly contested game with Stephen Curry on the floor, Jarrett Jack likely wasn’t the player people thought would hit the game-winning shot.

Nevertheless, the Brooklyn Nets guard buried a free-throw line jumper over both Curry and Klay Thompson with 1.1 seconds remaining in the fourth quarter, giving Brooklyn a 110-108 lead that was the eventual final score.

Quite frankly, the pick-and-roll was poorly executed, and Jack was forced into a questionable shot attempt, but a win is a win.

The Nets overcame Curry’s 18-point fourth-quarter performance and managed to fend off the Warriors’ late charge. They blanketed the MVP candidate’s attempt at a game-winning basket, not allowing him to shoot before the buzzer sounded.

Brooklyn improved to 25-33 on the season and regained eighth place in the Eastern Conference standings, the final playoff spot.

Golden State dropped to 46-12 with the loss but still holds a four-game advantage for best record in the Western Conference.
