The Minnesota Vikings have reportedly added a new toy for quarterback Teddy Bridgewater.
According to ESPN’s Adam Schefter, the Miami Dolphins have traded the disgruntled receiver as well as a seventh-round pick to Minnesota for a fifth-round pick.
Vikings traded 5th-round pick to Miami for WR Mike Wallace and 7th-round pick, per league source.

While the Dolphins have been shopping Wallace for some time, this deal was made possible when the team traded for Kenny Stills earlier on Friday. With Stills on the roster, there really wasn’t any room to retain Wallace.
Wallace, 28, signed a five-year, $60 million contract with the Dolphins prior to the 2013 season. He quickly fell out of favor on the team, something that came to a head towards the latter part of the 2014 season. Despite this, Wallace still put up nearly 1,800 total yards and 15 scores in two seasons with Miami.
At the very least, Minnesota was able to nab a deep threat for its young quarterback. Wallace may not be a No. 1 receiver, but he’s better than anything the team had on its roster before this deal.
