Rams Re-sign Kenny Britt to Two-Year Deal

New St. Louis Rams quarterback Nick Foles will have himself a solid target on the outside for the upcoming season. The team re-signed wide receiver Kenny Britt to a two-year, $14 million contract with $4.3 million guaranteed.

Almost out of the league just a couple years back, the former first-round pick of the Tennessee Titans resurrected his career with the Rams this past season.

Britt, 26, recorded 48 receptions for 748 yards and three touchdowns while catching passes from a duo of substandard quarterbacks. It was Britt’s best statistical performance since he put up 775 yards and nine touchdowns back in 2010.

The $4.3 million guaranteed might seem like a reach considering Britt’s past issues, but there’s little doubting the on-field talent that he possesses.

With Britt back in the fold and Brian Quick looking to return to full health, Foles has a couple big-bodied receivers on the outside as targets moving forward.
