Seattle Seahawks quarterback Russell Wilson tweeted that he saw the movie “50 Shades of Gray.” No big deal, right? Apparently certain fans took issue with him seeing such a “provocative” movie and lashed out on him via Twitter.

Last time we checked wasn’t Wilson a grown up man? He even attempted to explain himself to his fans afterwards – not that he had to.
Saw a movie filmed in the town I call home. Provocative/disturbing no doubt but that does not make me less Faithful.

This is a joke, right? Wilson watched a critically-acclaimed movie that was filmed in his home city. Watching 50 Shades doesn’t make someone less faithful. This is the narrow-minded view that is destroying the good senses of people the world over.
