Wisconsin Sends Recruit Letter with Hilarious Mistake

New Wisconsin head coach Paul Chryst might have a long history with the program, but the individual in charge of sending out recruiting letters for the football team obviously doesn’t have an extensive knowledge of his coaching history.

In a rather hilarious mistake, the recruiting letter indicates that Chryst’s previous three seasons were spent as the head coach of Penn State. Considering that he actually led the University of Pittsburgh during that span and has no prior experience with Penn State, this was a pretty big error.

It was also an error that didn’t go unnoticed.

Jake Heinrich, an offensive line recruit in Iowa, understood full well that something looked funny upon receiving the letter.

Chryst, who spent six seasons with Wisconsin earlier in his career, comes back to replace recently-departed former Badger head coach Gary Anderson, who left the team abruptly prior to its bowl game.

Maybe someone within Wisconsin’s staff might want to get to know his/her boss better.

Just an idea.
