Vote: Which Quarterback Playoff Duo Will be the Most Exciting to Watch?

Eight quarterbacks who have combined for seven Super Bowl championships will compete for a chance to lead their team to the each conference’s title game this weekend. Which of the four quarterback playoff duos will be the most exciting to watch?

Please cast your vote in the poll below.

The Saturday Playoff Games

Joe Flacco, Baltimore Ravens versus Tom Brady, New England Patriots

Flacco sports the most road playoff victories in the history of the NFL with seven. However, Brady has the most playoff wins of any quarterback at 18. Flacco will have to deal with his receivers being covered on Revis Island and Brady will have to worry about Terrell Suggs dialing in on his number. Two years ago, Flacco defeated Brady in a game that eventually resulted in a Super Bowl win for the Ravens. Which quarterback will have more success in getting their guys the ball and scoring those game-winning touchdowns?

Cam Newton, Carolina Panthers versus Russell Wilson, Seattle Seahawks

It’s new school versus new school as these two young, mobile quarterbacks square off. Both excellent on their feet when it comes to avoiding pressure, this makes for an excellent matchup. Newton has the height advantage of nearly six inches over Wilson, but Wilson makes less overall mistakes. Will the underdog Newton be able to outplay last year’s Super Bowl champion?

The Sunday Playoff Games

Tony Romo, Dallas Cowboys versus Aaron Rodgers, Green Bay Packers

Romo has clearly picked it up as of late. He’s thrown 14 touchdowns compared to one interception in the Cowboys last five games (all wins). He’s also playing with a back injury that somehow doesn’t seem to stop his success.

Rodgers has also led his Packers to seven wins in their last eight games. However, Rodgers comes into Sunday’s game a bit gimpy with his torn calf. Romo and the Cowboys are definitely hot and on a roll, but will they cool down in Green Bay with the freezing temperatures? Or will Rodgers calf prevent him from giving it his all?

Andrew Luck, Indianapolis Colts versus Peyton Manning Denver Broncos

This has exciting matchup written all over it. The current Colts quarterback playing the former Colts quarterback in playoffs is classic NFL fun. Both quarterbacks are capable of huge passing yards and touchdown games. Manning has awesome receivers in Demaryius Thomas, Emmanuel Sanders and tight end Julius Thomas. Luck’s guys are no slouches either with T.Y. Hilton and a pair of top-15 ranked tight ends, Coby Fleener and Dwayne Allen catching balls. Which quarterback prevails?

Please vote here for which quarterback duo presents the most exciting matchup.
